MASS Spec are shows co-produced by MASS with other artists around a singular or focused theme and/or body of work. While generally smaller than our annual show, MASS Spec provides the opportunity to explore collaborations and themes in novel venues and formats. MASS Spec shows will occur with some frequency throughout the year. Like all MASS productions, they are imbued with a spirit of inclusiveness and exploration of artistic boundaries. We are always looking for new collaborations so feel free to contact us with your ideas.

In conjunction with J. Amber Mathis joining MASS visual arts, she presents:

HABITATION

Humans posses the capacity to imagine new environments and create them through the manipulation of the initial. Whether willful or unintentional, we impose order upon all that we encounter. Habitation is an exploration of this order, its limitations and the outcome of its service.
