MASS 5 EXHIBITION CLOSES TONIGHT

Saturday is the last day to attend the MASS 5 exhibition at First Magnitude Brewery. If you haven’t had a chance to see the show, don’t miss this last opportunity to view the exhibition.

First Magnitude will be open from 2 – 10 pm today. If the parking lot is full, there is parking available on Main Street (parking map below).

Friday, November 13 and Saturday, November 14 are the last two nights of the MASS 5 exhibition at First Magnitude Brewery at 1220 SE Veitch Street, Gainesville, Florida. The First Magnitude parking lot fills up quickly, but you can park on Main Street with an easy, short walk to the brewery (parking map below).

Tonight is the last night for Artist Lecture Series 2.0. We will be open from 4 – 9 pm. The MASS 5 exhibition will be open at First Magnitude Brewery through Saturday night. The MASS 5 show at FIRST MAGNITUDE BREWERY runs from Tuesday November 10 through November 14. We had over 550 people attend the exhibition on Friday night November 6. Scheduled times of exhibtion below.

Artists participating in MASS  5 will speak informally about their artwork 11/10 – 11/12. Four lectures a night starting at 6:00 pm with the last lecture at 8:00 pm. Join us on these nights to hear them speak about the process and execution of their work. Schedule of speakers and times to be posted soon.

SPECIAL CRAFT BEER FOR THE NIGHT – Raffle for GROWLERS!

In addition to all the great art being presented John Denny, First Magnitude‘s beer artist has crafted a delicious brew for the MASS 5 exhibition opening Friday (11/6).

First Magnitude’s Vanilla Rye Black Ale resembles a robust porter in flavor but was brewed with healthy dose of British rye malt, which added a unique, spicy dimension to this rich, medium-full bodied brew. It was then aged on vanilla beans for 2 weeks, providing a smooth sweetness to complement the dryness of the rye and roasted malts. 7.2% ABV.

As John put it, “Slightly chewy, like toffee left on a dashboard.”
